If the producers, such as the jambu or bamboo, become extinct, then the other animal will eventually starve to death. The Howler monkey, the greater bamboo lemur, the orangutan, and many other primary consumers will become extinct. Then, the secondary consumers will become extinct. Then the decomposers will become extinct. Then no animals will be living in the tropical rainforests.
